Deep tissue massage is a massage technique that’s mainly used to treat musculoskeletal issues, such as strains and sports injuries. It involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues. This helps to break up scar tissue that forms following an injury and reduce tension in muscle and tissue. It may also promote faster healing by increasing blood flow and reducing inflammation.
Deep Tissue Massage is a great way to deeply relax the muscles that are causing you a lot of aches and pains.
In order to really look after our muscles and refrain from injuries, they need to be released before we can stretch,
then we can move on to adding strength through exercises. Deeper than a Swedish massage and more specific on targeting muscles individually or muscles groups that could be causing you discomfort even referred pain.
Your therapist will use all manner of techniques including elbows, deep pressure points used along side deep breathing,
stretching and stripping muscles, to release adhesions and get better blood flow to the muscles.
Typically not a relaxing, sleepy massage, it can be catered to your needs.
If you require certain areas to be deeper then your therapist will do so, with a mix of firm strokes to assist relaxation.
You may find the next day that you feel tender and a little sore. This is normal as your therapist would have worked deeply on
muscles that are holding a lot of tension. Expect to feel this for one or two days after, you will then feel better and a lot easier
than you did before. If you have had an issue for a long time, understand that whilst you may feel better after one session,
to really benefit you will need regular sessions to ease the tense muscles.
Deep tissue massage offers both physical and psychological benefits. Unlike other massage techniques that focus on relaxation, deep tissue massage helps to treat muscle pain and improve stiffness. But it can still help to you unwind mentally, too.
People have also reported that deep tissue massage helps with:

Benefits of body scrub with mud mask
1) Improves Your Skin’s Absorption Capability
Do you often feel like you aren’t getting your money’s worth with your skincare products? While it might be an issue with the product itself, there can also be a deeper underlying cause. When dead cells take residence on your skin, they inhibit the absorption properties of other skincare products. The formulas are not able to penetrate your skin as deeply, and therefore, can’t do their job properly.
Although your body naturally exfoliates after every 28 days or so for young adults and every 60 days for elderly people, this capability can be hindered due to many reasons.
2) Rejuvenates the Look of Your Skin
Body scrubs remove dead skin cells and promote healthy rejuvenation of your appearance. But that’s not all. They’re also great at giving your skin a clarified, clean finish.
They can help remove any dirt or debris particles that your body might have picked up from the surrounding environment. This way, they can also help keep your pores clean and unclogged.
3) Diminishes the Look of Aging
Body scrubs are a great option if you want to ease the look of aging. When your skin is hijacked by dead cells, it starts to look dull, saggy, and dry. Exfoliating gets rid of this whole layer of dead skin on the top, revealing fresh new skin beneath it. This way, it helps ease the look of fine lines and wrinkles, and also makes your skin appear tighter and uplifted.
4) Gives You a Smooth-Feeling Texture
Many of us have trouble with body acne, especially on the back and buttocks regions. Body scrubs can help clear your pores and rid your skin of different types of breakout-causing build-up. By exfoliating regularly, you can keep the look of acne at bay.
Similarly, cellulite and ingrown hairs can also disrupt your texture. Luckily, one of the top 5 benefits of body scrub is that it’s a great option to dramatically ease the look of these problem areas.
By scrubbing the regions of your body that you normally shave or wax, you can clear your pores and hair follicles. This way, the hairs are more likely to grow out of your body instead of back into it. As for cellulite, the massaging technique of exfoliation, paired with the removal of dead skin, can help considerably diminish its appearance. With the right exfoliating formula at your disposal, you can forget about uneven-feeling texture!
5) Helps Ease the Look of Acne Scars and Blemishes
Another great benefit among the top 5 benefits of body scrub is that it helps reduce the look of acne scars and blemishes on your skin, promoting an even-looking tone and a clean finish.
Body scrubs work to revitalize the look and feel of your skin by helping to shed dead cells from the surface. So, any acne scars or discoloration you have on your body will start to become less visible with the appearance of a fresh new layer of skin. You can experience a brighter, glowing look with body scrubs!
