PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The A.C. recovery is specifically formulated to work
in synergism with the pHformula skin resurfacing treatments. A unique combination of active ingredients working synergistically to assist in speeding-up skin recovery, maintaining the overall health of the skin, and helping to prevent future skin damage.
INDICATIONS
ACNE (acne grade I, II and III, which may also include excess sebum, enlarged pores, and superficial scarring).

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Use during treatment period as well as during recovery time after treatments to enhance and maintain overall skin resurfacing results.
Apply once or twice daily as prescribed by your pHformula skin specialist. Always apply under day or night cream.

PROPERTIES OF KEY ACTIVES
Niacinamide – provides an anti-inflammatory action, which helps to reduce redness and irritation caused by microbes. Reduces the sebum secretion rate and has the ability to block the inflammatory action of iodides which activates acne formation in the skin.
Mandelic Acid – has powerful antimicrobial properties which help controlling microbes associated with acne eruptions. It is a very gentle acid and particularly effective for skin types which cannot tolerate aggressive topical treatments. Ideal for the treatment of patients suffering from a combination of skin disorders, such as hyperpigmentation and acne.
Azeloglycine – is derived from azelaic acid and has increased moisturising and anti-inflammatory properties. It is keratolytic and comedolytic, which helps normalising the cellular turnover in the follicles. Inhibits 5-alpha- reductase reducing excess oil in the skin thus improving blemishes. Inhibits tyrosinase and reduces pigmentation. Ideal for the treatment of patients suffering from hyperpigmentation in combination with acne.
Salicylic Acid – is an effective keratolytic allowing additional actives to penetrate more effectively.
Tea Tree Oil – the antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties of tea tree oil make that ingredient very effective in treating acne prone skin.
Glycerrhetinic Acid – has antioxidant and anti- inflammatory properties.
Zinc Gluconate – speeds-up wound healing
and prevent scarring by assisting the body in processingessential fatty acids used by the skin for healing.
PH-DVCTM (delivery vehicle complex) – a superior delivery complex used in the pHformula formulations to enhance penetration of active ingredients.
